“Just do it.” Literally, just do it! I had postponed this moment for a year and a half now, a whole 18 months. Hmm! Anyway, for those who knew me way back when as Evita who blogged at Evita In Progress, I’m back! To the newbies, welcome to the family.
Some things, no matter how hard you try, can NEVER leave you. That’s the story of me and writing. I never stopped. Blog post ideas kept flooding my head and I kept notes. Along the line, I lost track of the very first reason why I started blogging. I needed a space to document my thoughts and at the same time share. That was the primary idea. At a point, blogging began to feel competitive because I didn’t have the type of pictures I wanted and comparison set in. Instagram became a nightmare…you know. Dope backgrounds, high quality pictures and the rest. I couldn’t keep up because at the same time, life was happening to me. Story for another day. And then, I quit. Just like that.
Blogging brought unimaginable opportunities my way over the years. Something I thought was frivolous and a way to kill time became something that opened doors for me. How dare I abandon a thing so amazing? The stats had me back then, that’s why.
22 Musings is a fresh start. You know that gut feeling you get when you’re so sure about something? Well, this is it.
I’m not only here to share. I’m here to learn, unlearn and interact with you. I want this to be a learning experience while having good fun alongside.
Evita In Progress is very much alive but for some reason, Google didn’t permit me to log into my admin account so I had to continue here on WordPress which I must say is more user friendly and encouraging.
To all those who reached out in one way or the other during my unintended hiatus about my blog, I say a massive thank YOU to each and every one of you. Your show of concern meant a lot.
