20 Christmas Movies You Should Watch

My people, it’s 49 days to Christmas!!!πŸ’ƒπŸ½πŸŽ‡ December is my 2nd favorite month of the year. Even though 2020 has been a rollercoaster ride, nothing can ruin December for me. Tensions have been high lately given the current situation in my country, Nigeria. So, in a bid to help you unwind and relax in my own way, I’ve compiled a list of 20 Christmas movies you should watch.

One way I know how to relax is to watch movies and series as mentioned here. To me, it’s a source of inspiration and a perfect escape from reality that still offers more insight into reality. I’ve been taking more care of my mental health and I advocate that you do the same if you haven’t already. Take time off social media, pay more attention to your immediate environment and really, just relax. Breathe.

The movies listed are feel-good movies so expect some drama, comedy, adventure and romance. I’m pretty sure you must have seen half of them as they are classics but there’s no harm in repeating. Without further ado, let’s get right into the list;

  1. Holidate
  2. How the Grinch Stole Christmas
  3. Lara and the Beat
  4. Let it Snow
  5. The Polar Express
  6. Home Alone 1 & 2
  7. A Christmas Story
  8. New Money
  9. The Polar Express
  10. Last Holiday
  11. Matilda
  12. Sound of Music
  13. The Wedding Party
  14. Operation Christmas Drop
  15. I’ll Be Home For Christmas
  16. Elf
  17. Isoken
  18. Christmas With the Kranks
  19. The Nativity Story
  20. Miracle on 34th Street

Yay! That’s enough movies to last you through the month or till December if you’re not such a movie person. 49 days may seem like a long time but consider it as a period of reflection and gratitude. Christmas is all about giving and sharing so remember to be of good cheer and spread love. We’ve had enough to deal with throughout the year.

Being my first post of the month, permit me to wish you a happy November. I plan on dropping more fun content till the year ends because we all need it at this time. Hope you enjoy the movies. You can also recommend any of your personal favorites so I can check them out.

Have a great weekend ahead.πŸ’›

Thanks Ava!😁 It’s the same Matilda. About the super intelligent little girl with mind powers. I included it because of the happy ending. Kinda like the same thing with Home Alone.
